Ok, I haven't made a journal entry for some time now but there are many reasons, and I'll explain why here:

1) Mom/Dad divorcing, his alcoholism and finding a new home:
Yes, one bank holiday weekend just gone my Dad got so drunk he hit my Mom, my Sister and scared my girlfriend. As a result we had to sneak out of the house. He destroyed most of my Mom's stuff, plus burnt my sister's stuff (including a 14ft trampoline).

He then left to a psychiatric ward to get hismelf looked at. He's now going to be let loose, claiming he has nowhere to go (he does, he's crafty like that). So as soon as Mom uttered the words "I want a divorce", he went from "I love you" to "I hate your fucking guts" inside 30 seconds, probably expecting my Mom to forgive him and take him back.

I'm not even sure he's told the doctors at the hospital everything just so he could get out quicker (he is a real loon, and to me the doctors have the impression that this is the first time - it isn't...)

Which moves me swiftly on to number 2...

2) Home hunting:
I am currently looking for a place to live just so I don't have to stay at home with Dad when he comes back. Not much to say here but all I can say to Alison is "that story of ours will have to wait or end sooner than we'd hoped".

It also means that a lot of stuff will be gone for a short while - internet access will be limited until I get on my feet and any further artwork will not be uploaded. Which then moves me to number 3...

3) 'Epic-er Boobs' got deleted:
Over "copyright infringement" apparently, and I'd like to know where from. However, I know that dA will not give me that information because I can bet they don't even know themselves, and it's probably best that I don't chase it up - it'll only get messy and they won't listen to my reasoning. All it was was a demotivational pic morphed (and someone else uploaded a similar picture after me with the same idea). I even linked the original artist/poster in the comments. I bet theirs wasn't taken down either.

As for number 4, it's a good thing:

4) My relationship...
It's stronger than ever. She is most definitely there for me and she's even liking the idea that she shall be moving into my new home with me. She's helping me one step at a time and has a keen eye for decor so I guess I know who will be helping me out with an apartment/flat/home. It's a little strained thanks to overtime but I'm happy that she understands and I'm sure it'll be over sooner than I'm told. I love her so much.

Reason number 5 is more of a progress report:

5) Band: To play or not to play?
Well, this is a tough one. Recently the bassist left to join a band he not only despises and thought were sellouts, but for the pure fact that they may get signed by Sony BMG. Wise move, yes...but he did this on teh sly, not even giving word.

This left me with no other choice but to find a new bassist and still looking for a drummer. I found a drummer but he couldn't do weekends (the only time I'm free), and a bassist who is making a huge commitment in terms of distance. He's even learning songs as we speak.

But this overtime and househunting is preventing me from doing much in terms of band so that's got to go on hold. Thems the breaks.

Right I best head off, sort what I have to do and see you all soon. And to quote Anrie: I'll be back....trust me.
